Football: Nevada offensive lineman will walk on at Utah State
Parker Robertson, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound offensive lineman from Douglas High (near Carson City) in Nevada has accepted an offer to be a preferred walk-on at Utah State, according to a report in the Record-Courier newspaper.
Robertson will receive a partial academic scholarshp at USU.
A mid-season knee injury caused recruiting interest in Robertson to drop off. Robertson visited Logan a few weeks ago and received the offer to walk on.
The lineman was ranked as the 29th best high school player in Nevada by Rivals.com and the 11th best in the state by Scout.com.
