Girls basketball: Rich's Eastman signs with Westminster
Rich High School's Allie Eastman, the 2008 and 2009 Class 1A girls basketball MVP, has signed an NAIA letter of intent to play basketball for Westminster College in Salt Lake City.
Eastman's teams went 85-11 overall in her years at Rich, a tiny school in Randolph, Utah.
Eastman averaged 17.8 points per game her senior year and led 1A with 2.8 three-pointers per game.
She finished with 167 three-pointers in her career, second-most on the state record list.
"Allie is long, skilled, and can really shoot it," said Westminster coach JD Gustin. "She is a tremendous student-athlete and will fit in nicely to our program."
