Basketball: Bountiful's Carey bound for a Texas junior college
Bountiful High basketball star Sean Carey has signed to play for Angelina College, a junior college in Tuftin, Texas.
Carey, a 6-foot-7 forward, helped Bountiful go 16-6 last season. He averaged 15.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game for the Braves.
The Angelina Roadrunners also signed Trent Brantley of Springhill, La., Antonio Holmes and Joe Mitchello of Zwolle, La., Takoby Jackson of Lancaster, Texas, Travis Smith of San Antonio, Texas, Ronald Steward of Zion, Ill. and Steven Walker of South Holland, Ill.
