Basketball: Olympus in finals of Reno Memorial Day Classic
Olympus will play for the championship of the Reno Memorial Day Classic on Monday.
The Titans won a pair of games on Sunday to advance in the varsity division.
First, the Titans defeated Clovis of Fresno, Calif., 73-46 in the quarterfinals as Ryan Reynolds scored 20 points and Connor Brady and Nicholas Paulos added 13 each.
In a semifinal Sunday afternoon, Olympus defeated the Cameron Park (Calif.) Bruins 51-39 as Paulos scored 13 and Brady added 12.
Monday's final will be played at Galena High in Reno against Nevada's Bishop Manogue High.
Spencer Harris, Andrew Pellatt, Will Watkins and Manny Riak also contributed to Oly's wins on Sunday.
Also, in the junior varsity division, Olympus' junior varsity will play for the championship on Monday.
