Football: Brighton's Heimuli gets offer No. 17, from Michigan
Another college football power has thrown its hat into the ring for Brighton High defensive tackle Ricky Heimuli.
The junior received his 17th offer on Friday, this one from the University of Michigan.
"Michigan emailed him and told him they sent his official offer in the mail earlier this week," Heimuli's brother, Sefa, reported in an email to the Tribune.
A 6-foot-4, 285-pound junior who rates four stars (out of five) from Scout.com, Heimuli now has offers from every Pac-10 schools except Oregon, Utah's three major college programs (BYU, Utah and Utah State), Oklahoma, Nebraska, Colorado, Michigan State and Michigan.
