Football: Brighton's Heimuli gets offer No. 18, from Oregon
Brighton High defensive tackle Ricky Heimuli can now cross the Pac-10 off his list -- his list of conferences where every school in that conference has offered him a football scholarship.
Heimuli's brother, Sefo, said in an email Tuesday morning that Oregon just gave Ricky his 18th offer.
Now, every school in the Pac-10 has offered, along with Utah, BYU, Utah State, Michigan State, Michigan, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Colorado.
Heimuli said that Oregon defensive line coach Jerry Azzinaro was at Brighton High today and made the offer and seeing the 6-foot-4, 285-pound junior in person.
