Baseball: Utah team of 9-year-olds wins tourney in Steamboat Springs
Here are some names to watch for on the recruiting trail in seven or eight years.

A team of 9-and-under baseball players from Utah known as the Salt Lake Sidewinders won the Division II tournament at the Triple Crown World Series in Steamboat Springs, Colo., last week.

The boys had to win four games Sunday to win the title after being relegated to the losers' bracket.

The Sidewiders won the Rocky Mountain State Championship the weekend prior to their World Series win and are now preparing for the Fall Nationals Tournament in Las Vegas.

Dalton Grey
Hayzen Robinson
Jake Hancock
Jed Jensen
Kason Caldwell
Kyler Olsen
Mason Olsen
Preston Michaelson

The coaches are LaVon Edwards, Rob Jeppsen and Chad Michaelson.

These boys worked extremely hard and the coaches did a great job encouraging them and instilling in them confidence and a winning attitude.
