Football: Two Utahns on ESPNU's top 150 list
Looks like ESPNU has come out with its list of the top 150 high school football players in the country from the class of 2010 (this year's seniors).

Two players from the state of Utah made the list: Brighton High defensive tackle Ricky Heimuli is at 139 and Timpview defensive end Bronson Kaufusi is at 148.

Only 13 states have more players on the list than Utah, which is tied at two players with Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Mississippi and Oregon.

Heimuli has not committed to a school yet, but has a list of 10 favorites that includes Utah.

Kaufusi, son of BYU defensive line coach Steve Kaufusi, has committed to BYU.

The Cougars have two commits on the list: quarterback Jake Heaps of Skyline High in Washington is at No. 131.

Virginia's Phillip Sims (No. 36) is the top QB on the list, followed by Jesse Scroggins of California (No. 57). Heaps is sixth among QBs.

Here's the link.

Heaps is obviously huge because of what he has done with recruiting. But looking strictly on the field, Kaufusi could be a more important get for BYU.

At least ESPN isn't stupid enough to put Chris Badger on their top 150. That kid is bad. He can hit, but is slow and was always burned by receivers. I can't believe Notre Dame offered him. They will regret that for sure.
