Girls Basketball: Utah offers American Fork sophomore Grace Farnsworth
The University of Utah has offered a women's basketball scholarship to a sophomore at American Fork High.
According to Mary Waters, coach of the Utah Flight girls basketball club team, AF sophomore Grace Farnsworth received the offer from Utah coach Elaine Elliott at the recent Utah team camp.
After watching Farnsworth play in eight games over the course of three days, the Utes made the offer, Waters notes on the club's Web site.
Farnsworth saw some action as a freshman on AF's 5A state championship team last season.
