Utah State basketball: Autry reportedly commits to USU
According to multiple reports, Aggies coach Stew Morrill has received a verbal commitment from Vaughn Autry, a 6-foot-2 point guard out of Gardena Serra High in California.
Autry has been described as a good athlete who has the ability to get into the lane off the dribble. He would be a freshman at USU next season and give Morrill a quick, athletic option at the point to replace All-WAC point guard Jared Quayle, who is entering his senior season.
Autry, who was also recruited by California State Northridge, averaged 16 points, six assists and three steals per game last season.
