RSL Finalizes Exhibition vs. Chivas
RSL will still have back-to-back weekends off from Major League Soccer play down the stretch of the regular season in October, but that doesn't mean it won't be playing a game.
The team has announced that it will meet Chivas de Guadalajara — the parent of Chivas USA and probably the most popular team in Mexico — in an exhibition at Rio Tinto Stadium on Oct. 7. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m., and tickets will go on sale tomorrow.
The game falls between the weekends that RSL is off from league play, Oct. 3 and Oct. 10. It will have only three games remaining, at that point, with two of them — against New York on Oct. 14 and the season-finale against Colorado on Oct. 24 — at home.
