Nobody From RSL Called for WCQs
Hopefully, RSL's Kyle Beckerman and Robbie Findley enjoyed their time playing for the United States in a World Cup qualifying game earlier this summer, because they won't get another chance anytime soon.
Neither Beckerman nor Findley were among the 22 players called into camp by coach Bob Bradley, in advance of the Americans' last two qualifying games for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The Americans will play at Honduras on Oct. 10 — a victory would ensure qualification — and then against Costa Rica at RFK Stadium in Washington on Oct. 14. They're all but certain to make it through, too, sitting in first place in the qualifying group with just those two games remaining.
