On Loan News & Ticket Sales
While ticket sales to RSL's exhibition against Chivas de Guadalara at Rio Tinto Stadium on Wednesday have been encouraging to team officials, midfielder Jean Alexandre will be playing a different Mexican team this week.
Alexandre was sent out on loan again to the Austin Aztex today -- makes sense, since he doesn't figure to get any playing time with RSL for now -- and will play for them not only against Monterrey on Wednesday, but also against three English teams on a trip to London.
The Aztex will play Stoke City of the Premier League on Oct. 14 — the same day RSL plays its next MLS game, against New York — then Accrington Stanley of League Two on Oct. 15 and Sheffield Wednesday of the League Championship on Oct. 20. Team officials expect Alexandre back in time for their regular-season finale against the Colorado Rapids on Oct. 24.
Meanwhile, the team said it has sold about 13,000 tickets already to the Chivas game, which means they expect to reach perhaps 17,000 or more by gametime.

this is what you get for screwing the season ticket holders. $120/game (2 tickets) + 2 rounds of beer ($32) + food (~$20) = $172. Did the FO take that into consideration? Doesn't seem that way.
Sincerely,
Still debating on whether to buy future season tickets
P.S. don't question my loyalty to the team. It's about the front office. Been a season ticket holder since the beginning.
Are the Aztex paying to have Alexandre for some exhibition/training games? Or is RSL just sending him along for the experience?
Bonjour, Allez ...
Basically, Alexandre is just going for the experience, since he probably wouldn't be getting any playing time with RSL in the next little while. He continues to draw his usual salary from RSL -- the Aztex do not pay him anything -- but the Aztex get the benefit of his talent for the games they will be playing.
Hope that helps ...
Michael
P.S. -- Anonymous, I'm not sure I completely understand your post. Could you elaborate?
