Alco-what?
I'm blogging this morning from the taping of the governor's monthly news conference.
Gov. Jon Huntsman says he has no time for legislation that would ban flavored malt beverages or alcopops, from grocery shelves.
"I haven't given this one a moment's thought," Huntsman said, speaking to reporters after the press conference ended at KUER studios at the UofU. Huntsman said, considering the issues the state faces in health care, homelessness and improving education, "I'm not sure I
'm going to. We've got real business to do."
The LDS Church, which seldom publicly takes stands on legislation, has told lawmakers it wants alcopops restricted to state liquor stores.

Who writes this stuff? "The LDS Church, which seldom publicly takes stands on legislation" Wrong! Man get your facts straight.
What a joke that we spend time on this "issue"...is there not real problems to be solved??
If the windbags on the hill have this much spare time, why don't we save the taxpayers money and shorten the session.
Welcome to Utah!! Please check your brains at the state-line...
Thats just it. Is it really an issue? To me its a non issue.
I would love to see a pocket veto on this bill. Stash that pile of crap in a desk drawer and forget about it.
