It's just business

Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee released a new television spot that takes aim at some history multi-millionaire Mitt Romney passes over when he touts his business savvy. When it comes to leveraged buyouts, you've got to break a few eggs if you're going to turn an omlette around.

Those eggs often are people's jobs.

At Bain Capital, some of Mitt's gee-whiz consulting involved slashing what CEOs like to call "human resources." You can read more about it here.

Now, the folksy, guitar-strumming Huckabee is stalking Mitt in what should be Romney's 'hood -- Michigan, home of the declining U.S. auto industry. Huck's new "Understanding" ad has a scathing finish, despite the syrupy southern accent:

I believe most Americans want their next president to remind them of the guy they work with, not the guy who laid them off.

The man from the Bible Belt may have found a message that resonates in the Rust Belt.
