Brewery recommend
Wasatch Beer, infamous for its irreverent advertising that lampoons the dominant Utah culture will push the envelope a bit farther this week in releasing The Devastator — a brew of such high octane, it can only be found in state liquor stores. (Soon to be joined by hard lemonade, as discussed in an earlier blog.)

The beer's label portrays an maddened big horn sheep trampling Salt Lake City — including the Temple. Are we meant to make the stretch from Devastator to Revelator?

At the beginning of the new millennium, Wasatch first began outraging pious Utahns by kicking off its "Baptize your taste buds" advertising campaign. In included an
irreligious radio spot in which a tired pioneer responds to Brigham Young's "This is the place . . ." announcement with, "So who's ready for a cold beer?"
