Have it your way

The wonderful thing about political pundits is that you can shop around until you find one who says what you want to hear.

You don't like Mitt Romney? Well, you'll be delighted to know he's toast. According to Robert Novak, Mitt bought the farm in New Hampshire (OK, not a great metaphor since Mitt actually owns a farm in New Hampshire.).

Do you want Mitt in the White House? Hey, it could happen, says Atlantic Monthly's Ross Douthat. "This is a weird enough year that it's worth at least considering the possibility that Romney could lose New Hampshire and Michigan and South Carolina and still have a chance at winning the nomination."

Mitt, a capitalist to the marrow, might not appreciate that Douthat describes a Mitt this scenario as "The Long March."

Of course, last night's Clinton upset of Obama undermined the public's confidence in pundits in general. They predicted Obama would wallop Hillary. How'd that happen?
