Is Mitt tolerant?
The highly credible online news agency The Onion reported today that "Mitt Romney's candidacy took a major hit following the discovery of statements he made a decade ago that imply he isn’t sickened by gays."

The reason The Onion, with its dead-on sense of the absurd, is so hilarious is that conservative bloggers have been calling Romney the "godfather of gay marriage" ever since he failed to denounce gay relationships at a campaign stop.
Mitt horrified the far-right with this off-the-cuff statement: "There are other ways to raise kids that's fine: single moms, grandparents raising kids, gay couples raising kids. That's the American way, to have people have their freedom of choice."

Does anybody find it disturbing that it has become more and more difficult to discern some media outlets' reports from The Onion's brilliant parody?
