The Creator of the Universe seems to be doing what he can to keep the Utah Legislature from meeting in their opulent new digs. It may be earthquake proof, but the "Grand Old Lady of Utah Government" still needs to have her roads plowed.

Never fear, the lobbyists — Utah probably has more per legislator than any other state — have managed to plod their way up the Hill and have begun the process of cutting weak lawmakers out of the herd. And, judging from recent financial disclosures, is nearly all of them.
