Let it ride

The contest for president is finally in our backyard. Nevada that is.

Utah's evil twin is next in line in Democratic presidential politics and finds itself in the spotlight. Nevada could break the tie between Obama and Clinton, who won Tuesday in the New Hampshire.

The campaigns of Clinton and Obama, who took Iowa, are preparing for a clash Jan. 19 in the Nevada caucuses. Both have visited the state -- Obama is expected to parachute in again today.

“We always knew Nevada would be important as the first Western state,” said Hilarie Grey, HRC's Nevada spokeswoman. “We can be the state that swings the momentum in an entirely different way.”
