Star stuck
Robert Redford set himself a monumental task at this year's Sundance Film Festival -- he's going to "take Sundance back from the stars."

Yeah, right, Bob. You're almost God in Park City, but parting the waters at Jordanelle Reservoir would be easier.

As for the rest of us, we'll pop $15 for a ticket and bring a camera for some celeb hunting. We'll also try not to run afoul of the Park City cops, who, according to the Trib's Vince Horiuchi, vow no climb in crime despite the massive invasion of egos, entourages and 60,000 hoi polloi.

If you need to bone-up for the cocktail party chatter, the LA Times offers 23 fun facts to know and tell about the festival. For instance: It was director/actor Sydney Pollack who suggested holding the festival during ski season. "Hollywood would beat down the door to attend."

And how about a little blasphemy? God Bob is not the festival's founder.
