Viruses--the other kind

Reporting from the Consumer Electronic Show -- the intergalactic vortex of geekery, the Los Angeles Times found a Utahn who leads the pack of bacillophobia techies.

Jay Stevens has dodging germs down to a science, says the LA Times:

• He loads his body with vitamin C leading up to the show.

• Supercharges his immune system with off-the-shelf supplements.

• Obsessively washes his hands.

• Avoids touching handrails, doorknobs and devices like keyboards.

• Hourly coats his hands with hand sanitizer.

"People touch an escalator, pick up the germs," Stevens explains. "The cellphone rings and they bring that to their face. That's all it takes -- you're done!"

So that's why God made Bluetooths.
