Watch your back, sodbuster
Here's something we haven't seen since "Shane" — a farmer takes on the powers that be and actually wins.

Michael Giolas sued Riverton for failing to enforce its own ordinances by letting construction crews dump waste on his crops in an effort to push farmers off the land in favor of development.
"As far as I know, this is the first time the city has been held to account for its development practices," says the farmer's lawyer Dale Gardiner. "Farmers don't usually win against cities."
Giolas, a hay farmer, will collect $234,000 from Riverton.
