Wireless crack

Ryan Shattuck writes a witty column in the UofU's Daily Chronicle exploring techno-addiction against the backdrop of electro-lust at the Consumer Electronics Show and MacWorld.

Shattuck dreams of a world where such obsessiveness and passion are instead devoted to more important human issues.

Would more people vote? Would more people attend church? Would more people be more civic minded? Would the public revolt and demand more from its leaders?
Still, Shattuck admits his own monkey is here to stay, "... maybe I can at least shift my technology addiction to something slightly less addictive.
"Like cocaine."
