I'll bet Mitt's way "saddened"
An "unofficial Huckabee blog spot" in Louisiana today has the audacity to ask the question: When Will Romney Drop Out?
"Huckabee gained great momentum and clearly did much better than Romney, despite being outspent, ignored by pundits, and ridiculed by talk radio."
"THE BIG QUESTION: When will Romney come to grips with reality and drop out of the race so that Huckabee can take on McCain?"

A Southern preacher's blog calls on "Mittfits" to hang it up and get on Huck's bus.
No wonder Politico reports "Utah Mormons Loathe Huckabee."
"The wellspring of Huckabee hate is a now-famous Dec. 16 New York Times Magazine interview in which the former Arkansas governor, in an “innocent voice,” is reported to have asked, 'Don’t Mormons ... believe that Jesus and the devil are brothers?' ” says the blog site.

"To Mormons, Huckabee’s eyebrow-raising question represented not only a gross distortion of their beliefs but also a carefully calculated move by a Christian politician who surely knew better."

The article shows how ignorant national pundits are of Utah culture. I talked to several Romney supporters about hating Huckabee. The said they were annoyed with Huck's spoiler role, but loathe? No, no, no. Hate the sin; love the sinner.

As anyone in the Utah news media knows, Mormon politicians don't hate or even get pissed when somebody dumps on them. They are "disappointed" or "saddened."

Then, they get even.
