Too bad he didn't bite it...
...then it would be real news.

KUTV Channel 2 News (and the Tribune was all over it) reports that a Kearns man was arrested after allegedly stabbing a neighbor's dog.
The reason? The owners of the dog say the neighbor tired of hearing the animal barking.
KUTV
says a 28-year-old suspect was hauled off for suspicion of animal cruelty. Of course this being Kearns after all, he also had other warrants out for him.

Sadie, that would be the dog, needed stitches to close a gash on her face.

I saw this report, too. The guy who slashed the poor dog should be prosecuted, but why is it that the complaining owners let their dog stand outside in freezing temperatures barking so long that the guy was tempted to hurt the dog in the first place? Dogs are social animals and need to be around people. I'd say if these folks are letting their dog stand around all day unattended in the back yard they are guilty of a little animal cruelty themselves...
