The green-coated security folks, the Capitol Preservation Board and the UHP in dress uniforms at the Capitol are enamored with their own power. Legislators will talk to lobbyists in expensive three piece suits, but do not want to see nor hear 'the great unwashed' nor the plebeians who use posters and protests to communicate.Barnard is asking a federal judge for a temporary restraining order to allow protests during the last few days of the legislative session.

I have seen some protesters up there at the capitol who greatly fit the description of the "great unwashed".
Maybe that was the case with some of the animal protesters, smelling a little too much like their animal friends.
Too bad for this lawsuit, I had hoped we were makign progress on this issue.
The elected officials represent all of the citizens, not just people who look like salesmen or lawyers!
these animal protesters, mostly teens and 20 somethings, need to grow up and quit whining and learn how to approach the legislature properly. hussah to the state patrol for doing their job, and removing the disruptive anarchists!!
