Keeping it real
Meghan McCain, 23-year-old daughter of Sen. John McCain, spilled her guts to GQ about dates, burlesque stripper Dita Von Teese, her campaign blog and how Mitt Romney couldn't "keep it real." GQ's Greg Veis writes:
By the time we arrive at Garduño’s [a restaurant], the discussion has moved on to the Romney brothers’ dad, Mitt. It’s two days after he suspended his run, and we’re trying to puzzle out why voters never really got around to liking the guy. “Mitt didn’t keep it real,” Meghan says, munching on a nacho chip.Meghan has opinions on other political figures in her father's life as well:
- Barack Obama is sexy: “He’s a rock star. I think universally women find him attractive.”
- Mike Huckabee as Veep: "That's not going to happen. . . I don't think they'd be a good match for a lot of reasons and am not even sure if that's what Huckabee's going for, anyway. I think he wants to be the head of the evangelical movement."
- Herself: "I'm an Independent. Socially liberal, economically conservative. I believe in a lot of Republican ideals, with the war being the number one thing I completely agree with my Dad on."
- Her father: "I'm almost incapable of bulls***. He's the same way."

What a tool. She obviously has the comforts of her pretty little world to support anything without much thought. I bet if she went off to Iraq/Afghanistan and found out that she got weird & wonderful parasites from Halliburton water, saw Blackwater doing the same shit for 3X her pay, found out that KBR stock "surged" upward, came back w/ a screwed up leg & had to fight the VA, and was forced to move herself & family out of a sub-prime mortgage mess that they were forced to live on....I REALLY wonder if this clueless little girl would feel same way. We have real problems here at home in desperate need of solving - approx. $45 trillion of "unfunded liabilities", bridges falling down, wide-open border, wide-spread inflation, etc. By the way mclame answers questions regarding the economy, he hasn't even given the very thing that plagues our country today, the SLIGHTEST thought. (Perhaps his wife's family can loan the rest of us some money with their fortune.) His "Straight-Talk Express" will take us straight to the bottom heap of history. American hegemony can't be sustained by breaking our military on illegal, global trists. We're already seeing a decline in foreigners not wanting to hold our debts in the form of our all-mighty dollar; Venezuala, Kuwait, Iran, amongst other oil-producing nations are now trading ,or will trade, in euros instead of petro-dollars. It's mclame's attitude that's so reflective of America's ignorance, not to mention arrogance & refusal to acknowledge what's coming that is totally scary.
And if you think that voting for the other clowns - Obama or Clinton - will "bring our troops home", you are even more clueless than the rest of us. Do me a favor, next townhall meeting or feel-good-speech rallies, ask any one of them HOW MANY troops they will bring home and WHEN. Sure, you can say mclame wants to also bring the troops home, just in about 100 yrs., while clinton & obama want to bring SOME of them home in about 20 yrs. ---bring our troops home? yeah, right. WAKE UP, WE'RE ALL BEING DUPED!

I guess when you don't have to do anything put troll around for the latest gadget to buy or to live that fabulous REI-catalog lifestyle and be the good little consumer, you don't have to think much.
