A Hill o' trouble
HAVE YOU SEEN ME?

Could someone get a few thousand hits of Ritalin to Hill Air Force Base — or something to help Davis County's sprawling military-industrial complex focus?

Here's Hill's recent performance highlights:
1. Shipped nuclear missile fuses, instead of helicopter batteries, to Taiwan, nearly triggering an international incident with China.
2. Accidentally allowed radioactive scrap to be incinerated at a local trash burning plant.
3. An F-16 riddled a training vehicle, complete with soldiers, with cannon fire in a "friendly fire" oopsie in the West Desert.
And this just in!
A case of M-16 rifles have gone AWOL at the base. In desperation, Hill security officials have asked the public to check their garages and behind the cushions of their sofas for the dozen .223 caliber assault rifles.

75th Air Base Wing commander Linda Medler says, hopefully:
It's possible that the rifles fell off a government vehicle while being moved from one location on base to another.
"Fell off a truck" is how your cousin Guido explains a great deal on a hot refrigerator.
