Mitt: Obama over McCain
Mitt Romney may have conveniently forgotten the hurtful things he said about John McCain during the campaign, but Heat at the The Daily Kos hasn't. Remember when Mitt painted McCain as the ultimate Washington insider?Sen. McCain is Washington. He's been there so long, he has so many friends, so many favors, so many enemies, so many lobbyists that he's worked with over the years -- that the idea that he could be the person to actually change Washington -- and he's tried to change Washington, he's a maverick, but he's not been able to get the job done. . . ."f you want someone who can beat Barack Obama, it's going to have to be a governor, it's going to have to be somebody who has a track record of bringing change.
Mitt, now sucking up to McCain as hard as he can, explains it away to a Republican crowd in Colorado:
This is kind of a new thing for me. You see, Senator McCain wasn't my first choice for president — I was. But he is my first choice now, I'll tell you that.

So what is your point? I think Mitt's comment is pretty rational. Get over it. Mitt would have been a great President.
But as a liberal, you probably want higher taxes, bigger government and a weak military. You'll get all that and more with Barack Osama
Hmmm . . .
Let's see what President Bush hath wrought.
Bigger government? Check.
Weak military? Check.
Higher taxes? Not exactly, but certainly no focus on fiscal responsibility. I and my children will pay for the Bush "tax cuts." You can't cut taxes and increase spending without running into problems--pretty basic.
I don't expect that a person who would call an honorable public servant like Barack Obama "Osama" would be able to have a reasonable and fair discussion on the topic, but I'll try. Say what you will of Barack Obama's political leanings, if elected president he would not engage in the same kinds of illogical, unreasonable, and flat-out ridiculous decision making that Bush and his ilk have done.
Notice how the liberals always state that Al Gore and/or Obama would never had done what Bush has done. And they are right. They would have surrendered to the terrorists at the first chance. A liberal president would have rolled over for Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein and told them that the US is deeply sorry for all the bad things that we have done in the world. You can be sure if Obama is elected president, he will quickly roll over when his masters in Iran, North Korea, Cuba and any other country say so.
As for taxes, if you thin taxes are high now, you ain't seen nothing with an Obama presidency since he doens't think they are high enough right now.
One thing that Bush never did, but we all know that Obama will do, is use the presidency to "get even with whitey". If Obama is elected president, just stand by if you are white 'cuz quotas are right around the corner. Of course, that may be a good thing for white basketball players since the NBA will be loosing some black players. The NBA of 2100 will look like the NBA of 1950 again.
Poor Baby! You must be white and admit there may be something to get even about. *lol* Problem with your thinking is (and always has been with people like you) there is no way to keep racial tensions going without hurting EVERYONE in this country! We all live here, and if we are fighting among ourselves, the terrorists only have to wait to pounce on the winner. I know stupid people are inclined to think stupid thoughts, but come on! Do you really want your children to grow up in a country where just being on the wrong street, or in the wrong state can mean bodily harm? We are much too mobile, and we're all armed, so the last thing any of us needs is someone "getting even," or trying to advocate racial violence in any form. Please get a life!
