Rove gets religion
A new book on Salt Lake's Olympus High grad Karl Rove reveals how President Bush fired his close advisor, the man Bush praised as the "architect" of his election successes:

Bush canned Rove in a church.

Former Time reporter Paul Alexander, author of Machiavelli's Shadow writes:
On a Sunday in midsummer, George W. Bush accompanied Karl Rove to the Episcopalian Church Rove sometimes attended. They made their way to the front of the congregation. Then, during their time in the church, Bush gave Rove some stunning news. ‘Karl,’ Bush said, ‘there’s too much heat on you. It’s time for you to go.’
Noting Rove's ability to scream and rage, the DCExaminer.com says the president knew what he was doing when he chose the location for the ax work. "If you’re going to fire someone, you want to make sure you do it in a place where the now-unemployed can’t make a scene."

And, as political consultant Bill Miller says of Rove:
He's got a temper and a loud voice and he used it. He's known for getting hot. There are buttons people know about. Losing and getting screwed with will [upset] him in a hurry.

Religion won't help Rove when the War Crimes Tribunal gets him...
