Wholly owned subsidiary of the Fox Network David Archuleta will not be performing a thank-you concert at the E Center as had been hoped and prayed for.

Even though the proceeds would go to charity and given meaning to the lives of thousands of Utahns, Fox said, "Ixnay."

David's agent Roger Widynowski told Channel 2 News that Fox snuffed the thank-you concert because of Archuleta's contract with American Idol.

On Saturday, Archuleta and several other Idol also-rans will begin touring the country as part of the reality show's official summer concerts.
