Wright endorses FDR
I was listening to Doug Wright on KGOP this morning when he said something that nearly stopped me in my tracks (explaining that brief delay on northbound I-15).

Doug and his simple-folk callers were bemoaning the price of gas and demanding action, when Doug blurted out:
We have had presidents who have stepped up and demanded more from Big Business.
Then Utah's unctuous Republican family-values mouthpiece went on to name them: JFK, FDR, Truman and Teddy Roosevelt.

Basically, Doug endorsed the Democratic Party.

OK, Teddy was a Republican, but few would argue he acted a lot like a Dem — he believed in government involvement in the economy and he beats Clinton hands down for protecting public land.

You dismiss KSL as KGOP. How cute.

Maybe you should dismiss yourself and the rest of the Tribune staff as hacks for the Democratic Party.

What hypocrisy.

KSL is hardly the mouthpiece for the GOP. The SL Tribune, on the other hand, is truly the champion of democratic party and irresponsible, abusive socialist government.
