Are conversions up?
So much for your fantasies of an all-LDS Chippendales troupe. Chad Hardy, who produced the racy "Men on a Mission" calendar of beef-cake shots of returned Mormon missionaries has been X'ed for his trouble.

After his excommunication, Hardy told the Associated Press:

I felt like I spoke my truth. Bottom-line, they still felt the calendar is inappropriate and not the image that the church wants to have.

The calendar sold 10,000 copies at $15 each. Hardy did not speculate on a possible "sister" project called "The Babes of Temple Square."

I guess if you want to sinlessly see bare-chested RMs, you have to go to the BYU Swim Team website (www.byucougars.com). Apparently modestly doesn't apply to any circumstance where the Church would have to explain it's 1950's dress code. I liked the humor and free thinking of the calendar.

Are the men who posed for the calendar also going to be exed? I still don't see why this is a bad thing for the church?
