Mormon pantheon addition
Steven Fales, BYU grad, former male escort, former drug user, excommunicated LDS Church member and former son-in-law of Mormon literary icon Caroline Pearson, is bent on becoming one of the best known faces of Mormon culture — along with Mitt Romney and Donny and Marie*.

Fales' one-act "dramedy" musical, Confessions of a Mormon Boy, which has played in major U.S. cities, is opening on the London stage. Says Fales:
I wrote the play so that my children would some day be able to understand their gay father. I kept thinking that if I were to die, there wasn’t anyone I could fully trust to tell my kids who their ‘wicked’ gay dad really was and how much I loved them.
*Marie Osmond moved into the lead, with her new Nutrisystem campaign: "I lost 40 pounds and never looked back!"

Ah yes, Glen's daily attempt to shame the church. Glen, I am not LDS either, but your hatred and contempt for the LDS people kind of shines trhough here.
Glen, report on a story for once, will yeah?
Who the hell cares about this guy?
His claim to fame is being the gay ex son in law of some washed up new age Mormon writer? NO ONE CARES GLEN!

Um ... are you sure it wasn't an attempt to shame the gays? That guy is truly square.

Perhaps this is a counterpoint to all the upbeat PR we get all the time about "famous" Mormons -- a favorite pasttime here in Utah. Name your favorite Mormon golfer (or other athlete), rocker, political pundit, token African American, senator, candidate for president, etc. Mormons come in all flavors, don't they?
