Judy first entered our consciousness when he threatened to blow up an LDS fireside talk, including church apostle Howard W. Hunter. He later explained that it wasn't a "bomb" he was going to detonate, but — metaphorically speaking — the BOM, or Book of Mormon. The jury didn't buy it.
I would suggest Judy up his meds, set his sights a little lower and wait until Sen. Margie Dayton is up for re-election. Her Orem district obviously is open to having special people represent them.

He can vote. In Utah, you can vote even with a record, once you've done your time.
That "same box wrapped in a different paper" line is similar to the B.S. argument we got from the Nader people in 2000, which is partly responsible for the last 7 years of George W. Bush. If you don't see the differences between the two major parties when it comes to Supreme Court nominees or the decision to go to war, do us all a favor and sit on your hands next Election Day.
Hey Justin, way to supress the vote there pal. I guess Democrats realized that "Rocking the Vote" and Puffy's "Vote or Die" did not work, so now Democrats are asking third party or unaffiliated voters to stay home, since those groups have cost you the last two elections?
The DemoRATS and ReTHUGlicans know how to implement spoiler-free elections, but don't because they want to keep challengers like Ralph Nader and Bob Barr marginalized.
It's called instant runoff voting, and most of the world's democracies -- which have higher voter turnout then Americans do -- use it.

Judy did a 30 day state ordered mental health evaluation and did 8 years in prison. 8 years is along time for what seems to be a freedom of speech issue in a religous meeting squabble over power. Wrong meeting to interupt, freedom of speech is not allowed? John McCain infringed on free speech with his McCain/Feingold legislation. One of the most important features of a U.S.Presidents job is to protect and uphold the U.S. Constitution? Many Utahns are Republicans. John McCain is a good nominee for them with his legislative infringement on free speech. It all makes so much sense now. Oh yes, and the U.S. Constitution is the document that guarentees "no prior servitude should be held against you",in running for a Federal Office. Founding forefathers had problematic backgrounds. So he interupted a religious meeting...that is BAD! Christians picking on Christians? Boy, what an example that is!
Larry Hunter Ph.D who was a policy adviser to Reagan and is president of the Social Security Institute was quoted in the New York Times July 16th,08 "Unjustified war and unconstitutional abridgement of individual rights vs. ill conceived tax and economic policies- this is the difference between venial and mortal sins. It's good when a life long republican finally gets some guts rather then following sheep over the cliff. This is Politics not Religion and Utahns need to wake up and realize the trust has been broken and the Republican Party is over!

It seems the word Cody Judy was in trouble for in the church meeting was "B.O.M" and he was made an offender over it. That part seems very clear.
