Sundance remains a cable star
In Robert Redford's first interview since he and his partners in sold the Sundance Channel to Cablevision, Utah's independent film czar told the New York Times he will remain deeply involved in the channel.

In fact, Redford and Sundance Channel plan a series of short films for mobile phones.

Bob will direct the shorts and maybe even appear in them. Probably more important, Redford says the new owner is more open than his previous partners to increasing the number of documentaries on the cable channel.

Redford says he's intrigued by new technology, but “ultimately interested in whether we’re providing stories well told.”
