Mormonism a 'good religion'
Comedian/political pundit Bill Maher, it turns out, is a Mitt Romney supporter.During MSNBC's convention coverage Maher discussed possible running mates for John McCain with Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann :
MATTHEWS: Who are the Republicans gonna run for Vice President Bill?Bookies also like Mitt as a veep choice. British bookmaker Ladbrokes says Mitt is the 8 to 11 favorite to be picked by McCain, putting him well ahead of Tim Pawlenty (4/1), Sarah Palin (8/1) and Joe Lieberman (10/1).
MAHER: Well I would love it to be Mitt Romney since I have a movie about religion coming out. And Mitt Romney, of course, will have to educate the American people on the lunacy that is Mormonism. And I think that would be very funny.
I also think it's funny that the Republicans were for Rudy Giuliani but we showed five different pictures of him dressed up as woman at one point. And then the Republican base went, "Well let's go to Mitt Romney." Then they found out about Mormonism and they went, "Let's go to Fred Thompson." And then they wound up back with McCain.
MATTHEWS: Well let me defend Mormonism. It's a good religion. Let's move on from that. Shall we demure on that subject?

VEEP Debates Q&A
QUESTION: How will Sarah Palin do in a debate with Joe Biden?
ANSWER: How many men watching will be aware that Biden is in the room?
Palin is a hottie with naughty body. Yes indeed.
Mormonism is a kick-ass religion.

Senator McCain,
After Hillary’s speech last night, IT’S NOW OR NEVER!!!!
I hope that Mitt is McCain's running mate, too. Here's why:
Sean Hannity has blathered over and over about Obama's membership in Jeramiah Wright's Trinity Church; he has called Wright a racist and links Wright's comments to Obama's character.
What's good for the goose should be good for the gander: If Romney becomes the VP choice, then I fully expect that Hannity hold Mitt's feet to the fire on his membership in and adherence to the Mormon church prior to 1978.
I think that what you will find, however is that Hannity will do nothing more than aver --and quite smugly, I might add-- will call Romney a man of faith.
Oh, the hypocracy of Sean: I hope he hannitizes himself.
