Everybody loves Chris
To celebrate the "holidays," activists of various stripes are sending greeting cards to Sen. Chris Buttars, Utah's cantankerous Christian. The messages range from "Happy Hanukkah" and "Joyous Festivus" to a few sentimental, but heart-felt, "We're queer and we're home for Christmas."Buttars, of course, is sponsoring a resolution to "encourage" retail workers to say "Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy Holidays." Buttars legislative fix for what he calls the war on Christmas won him MNBC's Keith Olbermann's "Worst Person in the World" title last week.
I first heard about the "Wish Buttars a Merry Something" initiative at last week's Red Party for AIDS/HIV awareness. An attendee admitted he had sent an Christmas e-card to Buttars that contained gay risque content, along the lines of this.
Before you could say, "Have a Rip-Snortin' Kwanzaa," I learned that a few other people had the same idea. Utah's Drinking Liberally chapter, overflowing with holiday spirit, even offered at its last meeting to help spread politically correct cheer to Chris:
. . . don't you think it's only right to send 'Happy Holiday' cards to the Grinch who stole Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Festivus? We do, so we'll be bringing holiday greeting cards for everyone, and then we'll make sure they're delivered to . . . Senator Chris Buttars.

I used the word "queer" and was banned for life from the trib.....to bad I didn't say "fucking Mormon", That is OK! "Fucking Trib", "Fucking Fags", "Fudge Packer" will also get you banned!
Saying "Fuck Chris Buttars" or "Fucking Niggers" will NOT get you banned on SLTRIB.....but saying Fuck the SLTrib, Fuck Obama, Fuck the libs or Fuck those who supported prop 8, will get you banned......its only fair right, Glen "Andy" Warchol? Fucking Libs....
Remember when Orrin Hatch was Utah's idiot? Maybe still is, but I nominate Buttars as the new and improved Utah idiot.
Like Hatch, he's demonstrated that he has no brain, speaks nonsense that will only gain him large and loud attaboys from lds "church" officials.
Utah's other idiots - Cannon (both the brothers), Bennett, Matheson (the Bush backer and racist), Bishop and that new guy in Utah County now in Congress, who says he's going to change the world, back to the way Hitler wanted it.
Utah has other idiots - Gail, the closet lesbian, etc., you know the drill.
Anyway, here's to a Happy Xmas, Happy Holidays, good Yuletide, Super Spending, have a White Holiday season, and dog days to Xmas.
