Bush baby
It's pretty obvious to the even the staunchest Republican that George W. Bush's tenure will not go down as one of the bright moments in the American presidency. He'll join Buchanan, Johnson, Grant and Hoover in the pantheon of presidents we'd rather just forget about.So it's amusing, in a very dark way, that Dubya's dubious initiatives, including the use of torture, were regularly supported by Utah congressman Jim Matheson, an alleged Democrat. The Deseret News reports that according to voting records Matheson was Bush's sixth best friend among House Democrats.
Note to number crunchers: I'd be curious to see a comparison of Matheson's voting record to former Sen. Barack Obama's on major issues.

you mean that same Dem from Ut that desided to not to go the eloquent one`s nomination in the name of discrimination and bigotry. do you mean that same one GW :)?? the herd is the herd, at least some of them have to push the Dem button to get this closet Rep elected. he represents the conservatives as in con, and con as in con-man, but that is progress in politics for Ut :).
