The Tribune has uncovered how much it cost to furnish the Legislature's new offices that they use 45 days a year. With each office running about $15,ooo to $17,ooo, it comes to way over $1 million, it turns out. That includes $600 worth of chair for each butt of 29 senators and 75 representatives.

But when it comes to the poor and disabled, let them eat cake! After all, the poor are so, you know, poor and icky and smell bad, and obviously God hates them since they're poor. This is so typical of the hypocrites up on the hill. Millions for my comfort but for everyone else, your budget is getting cut!
