Shurtleff busts a move
You'd better sit down for this: Attorney General Mark Shurtleff, who has made it his sacred mission to bring down the BCS for dissing the Utes, is running for higher office, quite possibly fellow Republican Bob Bennett's Senate seat.
Lobbyist and hired shill LaVar Webb floats a trial balloon for the AG, "Shurtleff Ready to Run?"

Update — courtesy of poster "a non mouse," Daily Kos offers a poll on Bennett's race, that indicate Bob would shell Shurtleff and have no problem with any Democratic contenders, including Rep. Jim Matheson and Jeopardy champ Ken Jennings.

Bob Bennett.Probably a more solid clue is this mysterious ad today in Southern Utah's The Spectrum, though even it fails to say what Mark is running for.
Attorney General Mark Shurtleff will reportedly make a decision about challenging Bennett within the next several days, and some supporters say he is leaning toward running.

Shurtleff is a power-monger and has been since his youth. As a missionary in the Peru Lima North Mission I listened in amazement to investigators and local members comment on how Shurtleff bragged that one day he would become President of the United States. His ambition in life from the outset has been ever higher positions of power and authority, and he will not stop until his underlying lust for power is understood by the voting populace. Career politicians need to get a real job like the rest of us.
