Utah at the trough
If you've been following Sen. John McCain's "Ten Porkiest Projects in the Omnibus" list on his Twitter page, you might be surprised to see that two of the ten shameful entries are in Utah. In fact, the pork will go to the reddest parts of conservative Republican Utah.

#6. $1 million for mormon cricket control in Utah - is that the species of cricket or a game played by the brits*?

#9. $475,000 to build a parking garage in Provo.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz acknowledge:
Maybe we shouldn't ask for things that shouldn't be funded.
*The lame joke is McCain's.
