Castaway and knocked up in Oakley
Got a bone to pick with Tom Hanks over Big Love? Want to audition as polygamist for Katherine Heigl's vanity project on the life of FLDS polygamy refuge Carolyn Jessop? If you stop by the Road Island Diner in the Oakley-Peoa metropolitan area, you've got a good chance of running into Heigl or Hanks.
Heigl has a house in Oakley and Hanks visits one of his kids at The Oakley School monthly. Both hang out at the classic Road Island.
Hat tip to: On the Table and full disclosure— dining blogger Mary Brown Malouf is my wife.

Way to ruin any shred of privacy they might have had while they were there. Press sucks.
Tom and Kate built their fortune on publicity and media exposure. Besides, times are hard and Road Island Diner can use the the business. Leave a good tip when you're up there, Anon
Huh. Who knew? I always thought Gehrke was your wife.
People who don't leave their names with comments suck.
