Jihad in 140 characters
It had to happen. Twitter is being used as a diabolical anti-Mormon weapon, at least according to some LDS bloggers:
I noticed that someone posted the following:

Mormon leader of NOM appears to advocate overthrow of US government “by whatever means necessary”.

I tried to post something explaining the position of the Mormon Church, but it is a useless endeavor. . . . I wonder why they do not talk about something positive and uplifting instead.

The vortex of this death-by-a-thousand-cuts assault appears to be Twitter's #Mormon.Today. I didn't find anything seriously offensive there, mostly stuff like:
got to talk to a Mormon today about their "system" he himself described it as a "well oiled machine," and almost totally volunteer

My brother looks like a mormon today.
and
I think I'm dressed like a Mormon today. Oops.
I don't know how much damage a 140-character tweet can do a worldwide church. Besides #MormonToday also includes links to mormontimes: #LDS, #Mormon and to General Conference texts.

Finally, the "well-oiled" LDS church can call up a Twitter Mission and direct-message all the miscreants and proselytize them.
