Provo's food chain
Voters in Provo, going to the polls today, have their city's power structure doped out. A BYU Center for the Study of Elections and Democracy poll found that Provites (what do you call them?) see developers and the Republican Party at the top of the heap. The ranking may not be a surprise, but that voters are clearly aware of it is, at least to the SED Center's Quin Monson.
"They appear to have noticed."
The rest of the list Provo's most influential groups makes sense too:
2. Brigham Young University
3. Realtors (same as developers, really)
4. Utah Education Association
Last: Democratic Party
