Lege gets swine flu scare
Utah lawmakers got uncomfortably close to the H1N1 swine flu bug through Sen. Dan Liljenquist after his brother-in-law became the eighth Utahn to die from the illness.
"It just seems surreal that my brother-in-law was the eighth person who died. It didn't even cross our minds, even with all the news coverage."
The Bountiful Republican learned about his brother-in-law's death during a Senate meeting where he had shaken hands with his other Republican senators.
"I felt badly."
The senators headed for a bottle of hand sanitizer on a receptionist's desk.
