Will Actors Strike?

It's time to hold our collective breaths as the Screen Actors Guild is still negotiating with studios and producers over a new contract as the current contract expires Tuesday at midnight.

According to Hollywood journalist Nikki Finke, she says SAG is not about to strike as negotiations are ongoing.

While the other actors guild, AFTRA, has inked a deal, SAG is trying to negotiate terms regarding productions for new media like the Internet.

SAG has told its members it's not time to strike and that they can effectively reach an agreement, they just need more time past the contract expiration date.

Here's hoping they work something out. I'm not going to tolerate another season without "24."

Vince Horiuchi loves to watch television, play video games and make fun of Hollywood executives - all while keeping an eye on his two daughters. If he isn't in a self-induced coma from watching too many episodes of "Hope & Faith," you'll find him at the local cineplex in a self-induced coma from watching "Bewitched."
