Utah's Julianne Hough to Undergo Surgery
Julianne Hough, the two-time-winning champ on ABC's hit reality series, "Dancing With the Stars," apparently has had a gut full.
The poor girl has to undergo surgery for appendicitis.
The Utah dancer experienced stomach pains last week and had to go to the emergency room. Turns out she has to have the old appendix removed as well as be treated for endometriosis, which she defines on her Web site as "the development of uterine-lining tissue outside the uterus on the surfaces of organs in the pelvis or abdomen where they are not supposed to grow. It is a common medical condition found in 5-10% of women of reproductive age around the world."
Meanwhile, she and her partner, "Hannah Montana" star Cody Linley, are expected to dance next week after she makes a full recovery.
Linley will dance with Edyta Sliwinska later this week in the results show if he advances to the next round.
