"Lipstick Jungle" Becomes It's "Own Worst Enemy"

A sophomore drama and a freshman action thriller are headed to the junk heap.

NBC dumped "Lipstick Jungle," the Friday's "Sex and the City"-like drama, as well as the new Monday drama "My Own Worst Enemy."

Only "Enemy," about an agent who also was a working husband/father on the side (starring Christian Slater), wasn't the enemy in the case of its low ratings. You might want to credit "Heroes" for its poor performance.

The third season of the superhero sci-fi/fantasy series dropped in the ratings and became a poor lead-in for "Enemy."

In fact, all of NBC's Monday lineup has been in jeopardy. What seemed like a good one-two-three punch that night with "Chuck," "Heroes" and "Enemy" turned out to be a bust.

Vince Horiuchi loves to watch television, play video games and make fun of Hollywood executives - all while keeping an eye on his two daughters. If he isn't in a self-induced coma from watching too many episodes of "Hope & Faith," you'll find him at the local cineplex in a self-induced coma from watching "Bewitched."
